I’d like to talk about one of my idols, Mao Buyi. He’s a famous singer and songwriter in our country. He mainly sings and plays pop music. Occasionally, he performs folk music212.

I discovered him about two years ago. One of his songs called “A Normal Day” was very popular at the time. It’s about his pursuit of a normal life213 instead of a fast-paced and stressful lifestyle. I really loved the song’s beautiful melody and touching lyrics214.

After hearing that song, I started to listen to Mao’s music. What is most interesting about Mao is that he isn’t really known for anything but215 his songs. In fact, he’s not handsome. He looks a little chubby216 and wears glasses. If you don’t know him, you might think he’s an ordinary IT guy.You probably wouldn’t think of him as a musician.

Despite his regular looks217, his works are really outstanding. He has written lots of beautiful and touching songs. That’s helped him grow a really strong fan base218. I’m a big fan of his, too, because of his talents. I think that he’s one of the most innovative figures in the field of entertainment219. He works hard and always comes up with fantastic ideas. I believe that someday220, he can become one of the most talented singers.
