A company has asked your local council to open a factory in the area where you live. You and your neighbors feel that this is not a great idea. write a letter to the local council.
In your letter, you should:

• state what problems this might cause
• explain how it will affect you and others
• suggest what you want the council to do

Dear Sir/Madam,

I writing to express my disagreement on the decision of opening a factory in the area where I live. In fact this decision has been opposed by many people of the locality.

I am the resident of Mohali Phase 1, which is very old residential area of the city. It is not a good idea to start a factory in the residential area as it will cause many problems like noise pollution, air pollution and will effects water resources.

The air of the surrounding will undoubtedly become toxic. As many children and old age people live’s in the surrounding, it will have negative impact on their health. Moreover the traffic will increase, which may lead to accidents as children commute to the school on the bicycle’s.

It will be better to start the factory outside the city area that is in the outskirts of the town where lot of free space is readily available. Moreover, their will be no disturbance if factory will operate in outer area .

I hope you will the problems that might cause and tackle the issue ina responsible manner.
