Describe a time you heard a stranger talking on the phone in the public place You should say:
Where you were When it was
What the strange was talking about
And explain how you felt about it
There was an occasion recently when I heard a stranger talking loudly on the phone and I thought it was quite impertinent (不恰当的).This happened when I went to the library to do some quiet studying. Whilst reading my book I was suddenly distracted by a man talking very loudly. This was strange as it is common knowledge that one must try to be silent when in a library. I thought the stranger would realise the errors of his ways and stop, but he persisted in (坚持)talking loudly. I looked around to discover who was talking so loudly and was amazed to find a man having a conversation on his phone. I was so shocked and outraged (愤怒的)that I immediately went over to the man and quietly but sternly (严厉地)asked him to please take his conversation outside of the library. Surprisingly, the man seemed shocked at my anger and could not see the error of his ways. However, when he became aware of the irritation (愤怒)that many other members of the library clearly felt towards him, he quickly took his conversation outside.
The whole experience made me very angry. I found it hard to believe that a person could be so ignorant and impolite as to talk on the phone in the library. It is very impolite to talk loudly on the phone when in a library but it can be just as impolite in a variety of public places. I feel people should try to be courteous (有礼貌的)and empathetic (有同感的)when speaking on the phone and thus do so quietly and discretely (谨慎).
