When I was growing up I went to a primary school not too far away from my house in Beijing. It consists of several white teaching buildings, some big playgrounds and green lawns (草坪）. I have a lot of memories from my experience there. It was a rather large school as it was a school in central Beijing where there is a very large population of people. Therefore, there are loads of children who need to go to school in the area. So, I had many classmates and friends at my school. Because there were so many children, the classes were always busy and full of excitement. During recess (课间休息），we would all run around and play sports together. I remember this as a very happy and pleasant time in my life. While I was there I learnt all of the basic subjects. As this was a primary school the lessons were not so difficult or complicated, but they provided essential (必要的)knowledge for my future education. We learned mathematics, history, English and improved our Chinese language skills. There were also classes in the humanities so we studied literature and had art classes.
I remember my teachers all being very kind and compassionate people. They cared about us and wanted the best education for us. I feel very privileged (有特权的，受到尊贵待遇的）
I was able to study at such a lovely school. Although there were many students, and the classes were often loud and busy, I still felt as if I was cared about very much by my school. I look back on these days with happiness in my heart.

在我成长的过程中，我上了一所小学，小学离我在北京的家不远，我在那里的经历给我 留下了很多回忆。小学由好几栋白色的教学楼姐成，还有很大的操场和绿色的草坪。这 是一所相当大的学校，因为它是在北京市中心的一所学校，因此，该地区有很多孩子需 要上学。所以，我有很多同学和朋友在我的学校。因为有这么多的孩子，上课总是很忙， 充满了兴奋。课间休息时，我们会一起到处跑，一起做运动。我记得这是我生命中非常 快乐的时光。当我在那里的时候，我学了所有的基础课程。由于这是一所小学，课程并 不难也不复杂，但它们为我未来的教育提供了必要的知识。我们学习了数学、历史、英语，提高了我们的语文水平。也有人文学科的课程，所以我们学习文学和艺术课。
我记得我的老师都是非常善良和富有同情心的人。他们关心他们的学生，希望我们得到 最好的教育。能在这样一所可爱的学校学习，我感到非常荣幸。虽然有很多学生，而且课堂上经常又吵又忙，但我仍然觉得我的学校很关心我。我带着幸福的心情回顾这些日子。
