What kind of trees do people usually plant in your country? How about your hometown?
Ifs difficult to tell as I am not an expert on trees. But I would guess that willow is the typical plant in my country, as shown in paintings. The coconut tree is definitely the most common plant in my hometown, as you can see it everywhere, such as street, village, and beach.
Have you ever planted trees?
Yes, I planted trees once a year when I was studying in middle school. My intuition used to organize tree planting activities on important environment-related days, such as World Environment Day, as teachers wanted to make us aware of the importance of environment protection.
What kinds of trees do you plant?
I used to plant Willow trees （柳树），which are suitable for moist sites in full sun. They perform well in almost any climate and grow well in a wide variety of soils. It was pleasing to see 3 to 4 feet of growth each year. I would go to have a look at the trees every time when I visit the middle school.
Do you like planting trees? Why?
Yes, planting trees for the environment is good as they are renewable and recyclable. Trees also absorb some of the bad pollutants out of the air, leaving us with better, cleaner air. Besides, I think that the whole planting process, from selection to watering, is joyful. And I feel proud when seeing the tree growth every year.
