Recently I have met with my friend Sophie again, and she is one of the most energetic people I have met; and she has worked hard her entire life, but still dedicated to other people. We first met each other in a mathematics class a few years ago, where I had witnessed how fantastic she was in the subject.

I got in contact with her again when I got stuck by mathematical modeling last month. She promised to meet me in the university library; where she introduced me to various mathematical methods and showed how they are applied in business, science, and engineering. With her excellent tutoring, I understand mathematical modeling better and start to develop an interest in this subject.

I appreciate the meetup a lot and get inspired by her generous spirit. I believe my friend will go far in life as she has always been kindhearted and has made it her mission to make the world a better place. I know, if anyone can pull this off, then it is definitely going to be her. I truly look up to her and hope to have a mere fraction of her energy as I move through my life and achieve my own goals.
