There are various types of items in my home, and some are essential. Today I would like to talk about an old and important item, which is a dell desktop computer.
More than a decade ago, when the computer was not that popular my father spent a few months’ salaries buying our first computer. As an engineer my father believed that science and technology would be the future. He hoped this computer could help me get more information and connect to a bigger world.
This computer is very important to us. Firstly, we stay connected with our friends and family with its help. It provides essential knowledge and information on every subject. Today; we just need to type a word in the search engine, and then we can enter millions of websites to get information. Secondly, the computer plays an essential role in my education as well. Various computer applications, such as drawing tools, audio, video lectures, and PowerPoint, are very beneficial for me to learn more deeply and accurately. Besides, it is also an entertainment source for my family; for example, my mom can watch a series of TV dramas with it while my father plays chess and video games from time to time. This computer records so many happy moments in my family that we still cherish it a lot.
