Describe a time when you got close to wild animals

Whenever I have time on my hands, I usually go hiking at the trail near my apartment. Ifs nice to get some fresh air and sunshine, especially since I spent most of my days curled up inside. The last time I went out, I crossed paths with a group of deers that were so beautiful they took my breath away.

That time, I decided to go off the beaten path and explore a different part of the forest. However; I didn’t stray too fag because I knew I could run into some less than friendly animals if I stepped into the wrong area. Fortunately; that didn’t happen, but I was still blown away when the deer passed by. They were so close I could have almost touched them. The mother guided her young to another part of the forest, perhaps finding food or shelter. I didn’t move a muscle to cause them any alarm, and they peacefully passed by after a short standoff.

This encounter deeply moved me. In fact, this had a bigger impact on me once I had time to reflect on what happened. I felt that seeing the deer was a good omen for better fortune, especially when they were so calm. I hope to experience this again the next time I go hiking.
