One time, I was really misguided by109 information posted online. The thing is, my mom’s birthday was coming up. So I decided to bake a delicious cake for her. But I don’t know how to bake.
So before I began, I searched how to bake a cake on Baidu, which is the same as Google.I found lots of recipes and videos that teach you how to make all kinds of cakes. In the end, I picked one that was very detailed110. According to the recipe, I bought lots of ingredients like cake flour and butter. The next morning, I followed the recipe very carefully, and I did every step the same as it was shown online.
I was expecting the cake to be perfect. But it didn’t look the way I wanted. It was supposed to be fluffy111, but the one I made was very tough112. I was so disappointed with the result. Later my mom checked the recipe I got off the internet113. She figured out that the recipe was wrong. The quantity of water written on it was two cups short114, which made the dough115 too tough.
I guess the recipe was incorrect. Anyhow116, this minor error ruined117 my cake. Honestly, this experience made me realize that I can’t fully trust online information. There are mistakes everywhere.
