I thinM it is important to encourage all types of learning and a desire for knowledge in children. Therefore, I think kids should know more about the stars and planets. Astronomy is a very important and valuable subject to learn and interest in stars and planets is a good way to kindle this in young children. Children love trying to find constellations in the sky and learning the ancient stories behind them.

There have been some very helpful recent developments in advanced technology which have aided star watching. There are huge developments in technology which have advanced and improved observatories all around the world. New telescopes and satellites with cameras are creating the clearest picture of the sky we have ever had as a society. However, even the common person has new and helpful technologies. There are now applications on your phone which help map out the night sky and show where constellations are.

I think every person has some sort of interest in the stars. The night sky and the stars in it has captivated the human mind for thousands of years. Observation of the stars can be traced back to some of our oldest texts and architectures. Therefore, there is something innate about being interested in stars. However, some people are definitely more interested than others. Those with astronomical or astrological interests.

I think people like to watch movies about stars or planets because it is a whole realm of fantasy that our imagination can enjoy. We have explored the entire earth so it is hard to set imaginative fantasy films on this planet. However, we have explored a miniscule proportion of space. Therefore, peopled imaginations can run wild in movies about stars or planets. It is for this reason that the Star Wars movies are so good and loved by so many people.
