Describe a person who you have lived with before

The person I would like to talk about is Jamie who is my roommate in high school and also my best friend. I first met Jamie six years ago in high school when she and her family moved here from Beijing. We was assigned to live in the same apartment, to me. We have become close friends ever since then.

We started studying together in an after school homework program in high school. It seemed we started getting more homework that year, so joining the after school program was a good idea for us. The first thing I noticed was how smart she was. She was very good at Math, which was my weakest subject. Whenever I couldn^,t understand the Math questions and concepts, she patiently answered my questions and explained the concepts in detail. She quietly and quickly went through her Math homework and was often the first person done. Then she helped me to finish mine.

On the other hand, she needed more time in English and History, which were my strongest subjects. I would help her with any memorization she needed to do and her other homework.

In the second season in high school, I really enjoy working on projects with her because we complement each other very well. She is good at Math and Technology. I am good at writing and design. Also, because we are friends, we share the work equally and work together very well. It was really good to study and live with her!
