Do you make a list when you shop?
Not at all. At the shopping mall or supermarket, I always get everything I need to purchase into the basket, be it large or small. I tried to make a shopping list, but it turned out to be a barrier to enjoying the whole experience as my thinking and attention was fixated on the list instead of every good item around me.
Do you make a list for your work? (Does it work?)
Definitely. In fact, I believe it is the key to high work efficiency. At work, I am frequently required to deal with multiple tasks at the same time. A to-do list offers a clear picture of what should be priority and what can be done later.
Why don’t some people like making lists?
From my point of view, making lists can be time-consuming as you have to find a pen and a piece of paper to write down everything related. Another thing is that failure to follow a list or finish every item on the list can be super disappointing.
Do you prefer to make a list on paper or your phone?
I used to prepare a mini notebook for my lists, but as I get more and more tech-savvy, my smart phone is the go-to tool for me to make a list. It’s more convenient to look at the list on smart phone than on paper.
