Describe a family (not your own) which you like a lot
You should say:
Where the family lives
How you got to know them
What did they do with you
And explain why you like them so much

I have met lots of family in my life, and David’s family is the one I like a lot. David is my father’s loved friend, and he is living in Wuhan with his whole family. He is so close to my father that the two families have to visit each other once every year; even though we live very far away from them.

I got to know them for the first time when I was 7 years old, as my father and I visited them for the Chinese New Year celebration. I still remember that they give me a red envelope, which was filled with new money and symbolized good wishes and luck for the new year.

I like them a lot because of two reasons. Firstly; most family members are soldiers, and they are very humorous, engaging, and knowlegeable. Secondly; they are very generous and kind to me. When I have any achievement or ceremony, such as birthday and graduation with first-class degrees, they always give me red envelopes to share blessings and celebrations no matter where I am. The importance of the red envelope for me isn’t the cash inside. It’s the envelope itself; the red color associates with energy, happiness, and good luck. The process of receiving and opening red packets are always full of fun and love.
