I was once on holiday with my friends when we had to borrow something very useful from others. We had travelled to Sanya, to experience the beautiful sun and beaches of Hainan Island, and also the activities one can experience there.

We were all incredibly excited to try diving. None of us had been diving before, so we had no idea what to expect. When we went to investigate (研宄）the diving, we discovered that there is a huge amount of equipment needed to go diving. To dive, a person needs a wet suit (潜水服），an oxygen tank (氧气罐）connected to a breathing apparatus (呼吸管），flippers (脚蹼）and all sorts of other highly technical equipment. When we looked at the prices of the equipment, we discovered it would have cost a fortune (花一笔钱）to buy it all. Then we found some lovely instructors who could teach us how to swim and borrow us some equipment. But unfortunately, they said the wet suit was personal things that they can^ lend us for free.

Luckily, my friend Lucy is a big fan of diving. I immediately asked her to borrow a wet suit as we were almost the same height and weight. This was brilliant because it is impossible to go diving without the proper equipment. Therefore, we were all able to go diving multiple times during our trip to Sanya. Everything we saw under the sea was so beautiful, and it was only possible due to the equipment we borrowed from Lucy and the instructors.
