A water sport I am very keen to try in the future is scuba diving (带氧气瓶的深潜).Scuba diving is where you swim while wearing a wet suit connected to an oxygen tank which allows you to breathe underwater. Therefore, you can swim underwater for long durations (持续的时间) of time in order to explore the ocean floor. I would like to try this in Sanya. It is a wonderful place for diving as the tropical waters are warm and the entire island is surrounded by coral reefs; therefore, there are loads of beautiful fish to watch and swim with. However, I am worried because scuba diving is a difficult activity so I will have a lot to learn. Luckily, there are highly trained scuba instructors (教练)in Sanya so there will be someone there to teach me.

The reason why I have always wanted to try scuba diving is I find ocean life extremely interesting. I think there is such a vast and beautiful array of (大量) life that can be found in the oceans. I am really excited to see bright and colourful fish as well as magnificent (华丽的）coral reefs. Currently, due to the effects of climate change, a lot of coral life is at risk, so I think it is important to see it while I still can. Furthermore, I have always had a passion for swimming, and scuba diving will allow me to explore swimming in a way I have never done before. Overall, scuba diving is a very unique and thrilling (令人兴奋的）water sport, one which I am excited to try in the future.
